Tafsir

This book which is an abridgement of Tafsir ibn Kathier written by Shaykh Ahmad Muhammad Shakir which is called Umdat al-Tafsir is deemed from the best of the summaries of Tafsier ibn Kathier.

Ibn Kathier was diligent whilst writing this tafsir in explaining the Qur’an with the Qur’an whenever he found the path to do so. Then he would explain the ayah of the Qur’an with the authentic Sunnah which is a clarification for the book of Allaah. He would also extensively utilise the sayings of the pious predecessors in explanation of the Qur’an
